The Buckeye Union High School District is proud to recognize the outstanding educators selected as the 2025–2026 Teachers of the Year for their respective campuses.
This year’s honorees are:
Brianna Pechac – Buckeye Union High School
Linly Dai – Estrella Foothills High School
Susan Hallas – Youngker High School
The teachers were officially announced during the district’s final Professional Learning Community (PLC) meeting of the school year, where they were surprised and recognized by their site principals in front of colleagues and staff members. Each educator was presented with a commemorative Teacher of the Year plaque in celebration of their dedication, leadership, and lasting impact on students and school communities.
Teacher of the Year recipients are selected for their commitment to excellence in education, their ability to inspire students, and the positive influence they have both inside and outside the classroom.
Buckeye Union High School District congratulates Linly Dai, Brianna Pechac, and Susan Hallas on this well-deserved recognition and thanks them for the passion and care they bring to BUHSD every day.
